ELASTIC Group of Artistic Research
Alexandro Ladaga & Silvia Manteiga work with digital medias, video, sound, animations, computer art to create artworks that link languages of the most recent technology to the philosophy.
They founded IN 1999 the ELASTIC Group of Artistic Research.Their projects were presented at the Padiglione Italia of the Venice Biennale for the Festival Temps d'Images and at the XIV Quadriennal in Rome Anteprima Napoli.They are authors of the book Moving Layers: Contextual Video in Art & Architecture.Their website was reviewed by important Art, Architecture and New Technologies magazines in Italy, Spain, France, Switzerland, Germany, Austria and Denmarck, where it was considered as an eccellent exemple od website specific; that's to say, an optimal application of the multimedial language to the web architecture; They partecipated to the Web Biennal in Istanbul 05 and were selected by UNESCO for the on line seminars about Media Art_Projects on Algorithmic Art and Interactivity and Physical Interfaces with Peter Weibel as tutor.
